Welcome

Welcome to our wedding website! As most of our family & friends know, Christopher and I have decided on a new day to start our forever!! We are so excited to have each and every one of you celebrate with us! We are so blessed to have the family & friends we do who have stood behind us and supported our love since day one & we can't wait to say I Do! ♥️

How We Met

First Comes School, Then Comes Marriage

We met in Nursing school. Never did we ever think we would go to school for our profession & walk out with a degree & in love. We have since moved on to take on the field of Nursing together as Registered Nurses.

Our First Date

We don't even like Starbucks...

Our first date was so random but so perfect for who we are as a couple. I will always remember the day he asked me out. I was just about to leave school when I heard his truck loudly zoom back into the parking lot and park dead set in front of me sideways. I thought something was wrong!! Nope! Just wanted a date haha. Two days later we went to Starbucks for coffee (we actually don't like Starbucks at all), then he asked me to go with him to Sam's Club to buy a bed comforter. Afterwards we ate some dinner and he drove with me to pick my cousin up from school. It was such an odd set of events but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I remember thinking after "this guy makes me feel really happy." Then I got a little scared and made him wait a while for a second date but here we are now, less than a year away from our wedding day!

When He "Bent The Knee" (sorry I can't help myself)

Chris and I had a vacation at work coming up and decided to go visit his father and stepmother in Texas. When we got in touch with them about our idea, they invited us on a cruise they happened to be going on that week! My first cruise!! EEP! The second night there was formal night so we got dressed up really fancy and went to eat. After eating we were waiting in line to get professional pictures taken when his stepmom walked out of line to talk to the violinist that had just finished playing in the main lobby area. At first, I thought nothing of it because Chris's stepmother, Charlotte, is musical and I thought she might of wanted to spike a conversation over their shared interests. Then she called Chris over and I was confused. His dad, Mike, assured me they were likely talking about the violins and music (but why is Chris involved now? Haha). A few moments later, the violinist set back up and began playing Perfect by Ed Sheeran. I honestly hadn't been paying close attention that she had set back up. Then, Chris grabbed my hand and pulled me out of line and walked me over towards the violinist. He said some very sweet words and got down on one knee. Pretty sure it took me like three seconds to say yes. I was in so much shock that I couldn't even use words. That's one night I will never forget!
