Love at the Rodeo Fairgrounds

Our wildest adventure started at the rodeo!

It started with the smell of popcorn, the sound of boots on dirt, and a "first date" at the San Antonio rodeo and carnival. To be honest, neither of us walked into the fairgrounds thinking we were meeting "The One." We were just there for the food, the atmosphere, and maybe a few laughs. Little did we know, while the dust was settling in the stadium, something much more permanent was kicking up in our lives. Looking back, that night wasn't just a date, it was the first gate swinging open on a journey we never saw coming. Six years have flown by since that night. In that time, our lives have become a constant, beautiful whirlwind. If you know us, you know our house is rarely quiet. It’s usually filled with the sound of Michael Jackson playing on repeat (because you’re never too old to try and moonwalk through the kitchen) and the frantic paws of our three dogs. They are our world, our constant shadows, and the best, if not the most chaotic, addition to our little family. When we aren’t at home with the pups, you can usually find us exploring. Whether we are setting sail on a cruise or discovering a new city, we’ve found that the best part of traveling isn't the destination, but having each other to create these memories together. But as much as we love to wander, we are grounded by the incredible people behind us. We’ve been so lucky to watch our families merge into one big, supportive circle. Their love has been the steady beat behind our dance, and seeing everyone come together so naturally has made this journey even more special. From impromptu dance-offs in the living room performed mostly by TJ to navigating the ups and downs of life together, we’ve realized that the best things happen when you aren't looking for them. We went to the rodeo for a show, but we left with a partner for life. Six years, three pups, and a million memories later, we are finally saying "I Do." We can’t wait to celebrate the start of our next big chapter with all of you!
