What kind of attire?

Outdoor or indoor?
Answer
Outdoor only with a lot of shade. Ceremony may have sun where guests sit, but it is surrounded by trees. Reception is shaded.

Can I wear heels?
Answer
Would recommend a wider heel. Ground is mainly small gravel and flat.
Question
Is it open bar?
Answer
It is “open bar dude!”. We have beer, wine and ciders. Also some non-alcoholic options. Hard alcohol will not be served by the bar tenders.

If I get too tipsy and can’t drive, can I leave my car?
Answer
Yes! Owners are okay with leaving cars, but please pick up by noon the next day.

Does the reception have to end right at 10pm?
Answer
No. The owners said we can stay later, but music has to be off and the bartender is done at 10.

Are kids allowed?
Answer
Yes. We will not have childcare available. Please keep watch of your children and feel free to bring items to help keep them entertained. We will have a kids table with some activities for the littles too!

Can I take video or pictures?
Answer
This will be an unplugged ceremony. We would like everyone to be present and enjoy the ceremony with our closest friends and family. Before or after is fair game!

Is there parking there?

Yes. There is ample parking in a field just outside of the ceremony/reception site.

Are there bathrooms?
Answer
Yes. There are two flushing toilet bathrooms with change tables.

Is there a shuttle to a hotel?
Answer
No. The site is in a very rural area, so shuttles are not available.
Question
Are there overnight options available?
Answer
Yes. Lebanon has a few hotel options (Best Western is by far the best option) 15 min away, or there are more hotels in Albany 30 min away. There are also a couple of campgrounds and RV parks on Foster Lake. There are also some Airbnb or VRBO in the area.

Yes, but it is low.

What time is the ceremony?
Answer
Ceremony will start at 5pm.

Is there a cocktail hour?
Answer
Open bar and snacks will be available at 4pm until the ceremony starts at 5, and before dinner. Cocktail hour following the ceremony will also have snacks and open bar for you to enjoy!

Will there be games?
Answer
Yes! We will have lawn games and you can take advantage of the parking field if you want to play catch.

Will there be food provided?
Answer
Yes, we will have snacks for before and after the ceremony, with dinner to follow.
