As they hiked, they connected over shared values, discovering more about each other's passions and dreams. Their mutual love and appreciation for nature quickly became apparent. They bonded over their love for national parks and their desire to experience every sunrise and sunset. From that moment forward, they were inseparable, spending every chance they got hiking, camping, and backpacking, always seeking new adventures and challenges. It was during one of their trips to Yosemite National Park that Luis knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Aly. As they stood in front of the majestic Vernal Falls, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his adventure partner for life.
