Aly and Devin met through an online dating site. They started talking in February 2014, realized they went to the same college, had similar interests, but Aly never gave Devin the time of day. She was too caught up in school and work to meet the man who lived just down the road. So in hopes to win her over, Devin went and rescued a dog in July and Aly was finally persuaded to meet this mystery man in person now that there was a cute dog involved. Devin won Aly over after patiently waiting for 7 months, but now they are engaged, have a house, 2 dogs and 1 cat!

On the anniversary of our first date, we went to Aly's favorite restaurant in Baltimore, Jimmy's Famous Seafood. She thought we were just grabbing lunch for a event filled weekend, but when we got to the restaurant she was surprised with both families waiting on us to arrive. As she yells, "What did you do!" Devin could not hold back his tears as he asked the woman of his dreams to marry him. She cried, "Yes!" and we were FINALLY engaged after 4 years.
