How rugged is the camping?
Answer
This is a YMCA summer camp, which means if you choose to camp on site, you are camping in a summer camp-style cabin. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 people, and you are all sleeping in the same open room. The beds will be arranged according to the party assigned (pushed together for couples, bunk-style for small children, etc). Bathrooms are not connected to the cabins. Each pod of cabins has a bath house assigned to it (see camp map). All cabins and bath houses are newly renovated with electricity.

If I am camping, what do I need to bring?
Answer
- Linens for your bed - Pillows - Extra blankets in case it gets cold - Any snacks / drinks that you would like in addition to what is being provided - Shower caddy / towel / sandals if you would like to shower

Do we have access to the entire camp?
Answer
Yes! But some of the activities and buildings/areas (Rock Wall, Ropes Course, Archery, Employee Areas, etc.) is off limits due to the need of a stationed camp employee and/or the associated packages.

How do I know which cabin I am staying in?
Answer
When you arrive at camp, if you are one of our overnight campers, you will receive a bunk assignment along with your wristband. You will also get a paper copy of the camp map to help you find your cabin.

If I'm not staying at camp, where can I stay?
Answer
We have a block of 15 rooms reserved at a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn in Keene. Each individual guest is responsible for making their own reservations by 4/10/2024 directly with the Hampton Inn & Suites Keene by calling 603-417-4290. Guests should identify themselves as guest of Patterson Wedding room block. All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover). All cards are preauthorized on arrival day for the full amount due, plus a $50.00 incidental charge amount (which is refunded if no incidental charges are incurred).

What does a "Casual" dress code mean?
Answer
This is a wedding in the woods, so we definitely advise against wearing heels that can sink into the ground! For the ceremony itself; sundresses, jumpers, nice sandals or flats for women, and dress pants or khakis with a dress shirt for men (tie is optional, no need for a sport coat).

No, unfortunately we are not providing any shuttle services to and from the hotels. Sorry!
