FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by June 1st, 2026.

Question

Registry & Gifts

Answer

We don’t have a wedding registry, as we’re fortunate to have everything we need for our home. If you’d like to give us a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon or our future down payment to buy a home would mean the world to us!!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The transport shuttle will be picking guests up from a common meeting point in Whistler and the Pemberton Valley Lodge to get you to the ceremony on time. We will update this page closer to our wedding date with the exact time. You are welcome to drive your own vehicle to our wedding, however, there are no Ubers or taxis to get people home. For those that plan to drink, we ask that you use our wedding transport shuttle to get a safe ride to and from the venue. The venue does not allow vehicles to park in the parking lot overnight.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away and turned off until after we say “I do.” We’ve hired an amazing photo and video team to capture every moment - and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors - think semi-formal with a touch of summer elegance. We recommend light & breathable fabrics, wedges or block heels, and dress shoes that can handle grass. Bright colours are allowed but we ask that no one wear a white or off-white coloured dress.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone we love, but we’re keeping our guest list intimate. We’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding - we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our ring bearer & flower girl. We hope you enjoy a fun night out to celebrate with us! If you have a new baby who needs to stay with mom (ex: exclusively breastfed), reach out to us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the Travel section to read about our featured hotel offers. Hotel options in Pemberton are quite limited. The Pemberton Valley Lodge is by far the nicest hotel accommodation to stay at. They also have the Pemberton Hotel and the Hitching Post Motel. There are many more options available in Whistler. However, due to the Crankworx event happening the same weekend, we recommend that you secure your accommodation as early as possible to avoid high prices & hotels selling out.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate this when you RSVP.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a wedding shuttle transporting guests to and from the venue. This shuttle will leave from a common meeting point in Whistler prior to the ceremony, as well as pick everyone up who is staying at the Pemberton Valley Lodge. When our reception is over (11pm), the shuttle bus will take back everyone staying at the Pemberton Valley Lodge, and do one additional trip to take those back to Whistler.

Question

What about transportation if I'm staying in Pemberton but not at the Pemberton Valley Lodge?

Answer

We recommend that you stay at the Pemberton Valley Lodge if possible, to make transport easy and efficient. If you are staying elsewhere in Pemberton and will need a safe ride home, please indicate this along with the address of where you are staying when you RSVP and we will do our best make other arrangements.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

For the wedding party, we will be having a wedding rehearsal in the late afternoon or evening of Friday, July 24th. Exact time TBD!! We will update this page and keep everyone posted if we plan any additional events.
