Looking for a little bit of fun in the sun? Check out Breezy Point Beach a few miles from the Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa. Breezy Point Beach is a public beach that offers amenities such as swimming and fishing piers (Breezy Point does not require a fishing license however the state of Maryland does). Note that there is an entrance fee that is CASH ONLY: $10 for ages 12 to 60 $6 for ages 3-11 and ages 60 and older Free for ages 2 and younger *On weekends and holidays, parking fills by late morning. During periods of high visitation, when Breezy's capacity has reached maximum, it will be closed and traffic will be turned away from the entrance.*
Looking for a beach a bit closer to the Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa? Look no further than North Beach. North Beach is another public beach that offers various amenities including but not limited to umbrella/chair rentals, paddle/pedal rentals, as well as a boardwalk and fishing deck (Anyone wishing to fish must have a fishing license). Note that there is an entrance fee to this beach as well: Adults 12-54: $17.00 Children 3-11: $9.00 Children 2 and under: Free Seniors 55 and up: $9.00
