We're getting married!

We first crossed paths the night we were born. Yes, you read that right! On the night of Tuesday, December 22, 1992 at 9:45p at Lakewood Regional Hospital, a handsome baby boy was born to Joyce and David Bauer. Family gathered around as the first boy in the family made his entrance into the world. A little over an hour later, at 10:47p, just down the hall, a beautiful baby girl was born to Lou and Ed Carlos. It felt like Christmas had come early that night. Crazy right?! Even we couldn’t believe it when we first figured it out. Just after our 22nd birthday, we were matched by Cupid himself! Just kidding, but we did match on OkCupid. A week later, we had our first date at Downtown Disney. Josh had actually never been so he got lost and was 45 minutes late! Angelica’s instincts told her to stay and wait for him. Boy, aren’t we glad we did! Of all conversations had that night, apart from confirming our birthdate, the most notable topics were The Vampire Diaries - Guess who was #TeamStefan and who was #TeamDamon - and Disneyland. Can you believe Josh once said he would never be a Disney passholder because he didn't think it was worth it? Challenge accepted for Angelica. Today, not only do we enjoy monthly Disney dates, we’ve been to 3 of the 6 parks - Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris! We’re hoping to visit the remaining 3 in the next few years. Josh proposed on September 22, 2022 in Portland, OR. He proposed at the Rose Garden while our families hid in the bushes. In the 8 years we’ve been together, we’ve learned so much about ourselves and each other. We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with you as we enter the next chapter of our journey to forever.
