Maid of Honor
Zaria and I met in 6th grade at Alston Middle School and instantly clicked. By 8th grade, we were inseparable. From our at-home studio, to starting Alston’s first step team (Go ThunderCats!), to our wild adventures in Zena (or as I like to call her Zippy) her black car. We’ve shared so many unforgettable memories. One I’ll never forget is Zaria first time driving us on the highway and nearly killing us in the first 10 seconds! Through it all, she’s been my person, and I’m so lucky to call her my best friend.

Isaiah and I met in the 5th grade when we played AAU grassroots basketball together. We have been friends ever since. We continued to play AAU basketball together until we were in high school. We were never able to go to the same school until I enrolled at NC A&T. We have been childhood friends and it is an honor to go into adulthood as his Best Man.

Zaria and I met through a mutual friend at the time while staying in Barbee Hall at NC A&T. I'd always come to her suite to go out and have parties. Our friendship definitely solidified that time I got drunk and she had my back. We've been locked in ever since. 🤝🏾💯

Isaiah and I met in 2019. It was pretty random - we were in the same accounting organization, and we had both signed up for a trip to Atlanta for an accounting convention. Since neither of us had cars on campus at the time, another org member gave us a ride to the spot where the bus was leaving from. We barely saw/spoke to each other while actually in Atlanta, but when we got back to Greensboro we were both getting a ride back to campus. So I asked him if he had a PlayStation, and the rest was history!

Zaria and I met in nursing school! My favorite memory is the old lady we had to clean off or any situational-based clinical assignment! These were the moments I knew we were locked in!

My favorite memory has to be when we were younger, he made me watch Drumline every day for a summer and he ended up really going to A&T. It’s just funny how he really had a dream and chased it, and in the midst of that, found someone who really loves him. It just goes to show that everything is on God's timing. There is nothing more perfect!

Zaria and I met during nursing school, in the summer. My favorite memory would have to be all of the concerts we have attended together and riding ATV’s in Houston. 😂

Me and Isaiah were roommates at the NABA conference in Atlanta. NABA was a business organization that we were both a part of on campus at NC A&T. We kept in contact after the conference and it has led us to me being a part of his wedding.
