As of now, we're hoping that most or all of our guests will be vaccinated by May 29th. The CDC advises that groups of people who are all vaccinated can congregate without any restrictions. If everyone at the wedding is vaccinated, we'll be golden! If not, we encourage non-vaccinated guests to wear masks and maintain social distancing as much as possible and proceed at their own risk.
1) Get vaccinated. While we understand that people might be hesitant about a new vaccine, we encourage everyone to educate themselves about the risks and benefits (from reputable sources, of course!). Obviously, it would be ideal if we could wait ten years to see what the long term side effects are, but we don't have that luxury. Neither did folks in the early days of polio or smallpox, but those who received the first vaccines made the world safer for everyone and made it possible to end their respective epidemics. ******* 2) If you don't feel able to get a vaccine for personal or medical reasons, we ask that you get a COVID test (with confirmed negative results) within 3 days of the wedding, and then stay vigilant about limiting your potential for exposure and infection before attending.
Nope. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer it to be just you.
Yes! There will be a shuttle from the Residence Inn/Holiday Inn parking lot (which they share). Schedule and further details to come.
Whatever will make you look and feel your best! However, keep in mind that this is a backyard wedding. We recommend flat shoes (or whatever height will let you strut your stuff safely over grassy, uneven ground).
