We met through mutual friends at an apartment party. While playing games, Alex introduced himself and shook my hand across the table. However, nothing happened until July when our friends started meddling. We had our first kiss after a concert and were basically inseparable. In October, Alex finally asked me, "Will you be my girlfriend?" and we officially started our relationship with a handshake (and a kiss).

On a Thursday night, we had dinner on the rooftop of one of our favorite restaurants. Alex took his time and waited for all the other tables to finish eating and leave. Once we were alone on the rooftop, Alex got down on one knee and popped the question. I quickly said "YES," and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
