Countdown to Carney

It all started fall of 2014 in Hale Hall at Tennessee State University. It was Teryka’s first week of college and her 18th birthday the following week. she had a rough few days before and didn’t plan to celebrate. Somehow this gets out to some of Teryka’s new college friends. Then boom, in walks Alvin and his cousin through her door. Alvin and his cousin decided to get Teryka out of the dorms to celebrate her birthday. They became friends instantly. Teryka and Alvin started hanging out a lot more over the next couple of years and doing nearly everything together. From food runs, study dates, random adventures, they were always together. Teryka started to like Alvin before summer break in 2016 and didn’t know that Alvin actually liked her more than friends until he made a tweet in summer of 2016. They talked on the phone everyday and night even with their busy work and summer school schedules. Teryka and Alvin started dating that July and the rest is history.
