Our journey began along the halls of Union Academy, where two middle school classmates—just kids at the time—found comfort in each other’s company. We shared laughs, stories, and dreams of what life might hold for us, never knowing that one day, those innocent moments would become the foundation of something far greater. Through the seasons of life, our bond remained unshaken. Always cheering each other on from the sidelines, we stood by one another—not loudly, but faithfully. For college, life brought us both to The Highest of Seven Hills, Thee Florida A&M University. There, amid crab boils, casual hangouts, and Sunday worship services, something beautiful began to brew. What was once just friendship began to develop into something deeper. Still, life’s timing didn’t seem quite right. Though many around us believed we were always meant to be, God had His own plan—one that didn’t follow our timelines, but one that followed His perfect timing. From middle school to college, and now the school of life, our paths continued to cross. We were never far—always a phone call away, always supporting each other’s growth, goals, and God-given potential. And over time, what felt like a love quietly waiting in the background began to shine more boldly with every shared moment. Today, we look at one another and know—we are living the many answered prayers we whispered for years. This is a love rooted in friendship, built on trust, and guided by faith.
