We're getting married!

Although we grew up only 15 minutes away from one another we didn't cross paths until we both attended Oregon State University. We were friends for a couple of years before embarking on a trip to Lake Shasta. After a kissing accident that ended up with one broken nose, the rest was history. We have been dating for 5 years now and moved across the county together. We cannot wait to have you at our wedding to celebrate with us as we embark on the next journey together!

It was a cloudy day when we decided to take a trip upstate to go hiking. This was one of our favorite hiking spots that is only a quick hour train ride away from NYC. Jacob (best man) and Eric (a groomsman) came with us on the hike (to record the proposal, unknowingly to me). I was told that Jacob needed some footage for his "portfolio" and he asked me to do some yoga poses while we were overlooking the Hudson River. Once we got up to a spot with a good view point I was asked to get into a yoga pose. I chose the "tree pose". Suddenly everyone was yelling at me to turn around, and to my surprise Brad was down on one knee with a ring! He asked if I would marry him and all I could utter was "are you serious!?" of course right after I said yes!
