Things To Do

The Monterey Bay Aquarium

A world class destination known for setting the standard for aquariums worldwide and leading the way in ocean advocacy. Whether you are visiting with kids or as a couple this destination is amazing. Be sure to block 2-3 hours to really see the whole thing.

17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach

One of the most scenic drives on the Monterey Peninsula, and quite possibly the world, resides behind the prestigious gates of Pebble Beach. The famous 17-Mile Drive is a visually stunning stretch of roadway which hugs the pacific coastline from Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach featuring awe-inspiring sights along the way. Even better, rent a classic car or convertible from Monterey Touring Vehicles and tour the famous drive, coast and golf courses. We highly recommend stopping for lunch at The Bench at Pebble Beach, reservations are recommended.

Hike in Point Lobos

If you are looking for a beautiful hike to see the most gorgeous part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary head just south of Carmel to Point Lobos, the crystal clear waters and an easy day hike Point Lobos is a great location to get out!

Wine Tasting or Vineyard Tours:

Carmel Valley is home to one of California's most incredible wine regions, while often overshadowed by Napa to the north, Monterey County’s wine scene is robust and award winning, and is actually home to more vines than Napa and Sonoma. If you want to do winery tours we recommend a trip into Carmel Valley but there are plenty of tasting rooms to explore on foot in Carmel-By-The-Sea. Below are some favorites In Carmel Valley Cowgirl Winery Folktale Winery Bernardus Winery Georis Winery The Wine House In Carmel By the Sea If you want to do a tour and buy a wine passport check out The Wine Walk Albatross Ridge Winery Wrath Winery Caraccioli Vineyards Dawn’s Dream De Tierra Winery

Ocean Kayaking

If adventure and being on the water is what you are looking for, visit Adventures by the Sea for kayaking, paddle boarding and more. You will probably see Otters, seals and maybe even the local Mola Molas!

Whale Watching

Monterey Bay is Home to the yearly whale migration, and almost year round whales and sea life can be spotted in the bay. October is a particularly wonderful time in the bay to see whales!
