Jonah and I first met while serving in Kid’s Ministry, and we had remained acquaintances for years. That was until one summer, on our way home from camp, we shared our testimonies with each other. It was an honest and meaningful moment that brought us closer. After we got back, I was curious to get to know Jonah more, so we made plans to go out for milkshakes. That simple outing turned into more: coffee dates, movie nights, and long phone calls. What started in ministry grew into something deeper, rooted in faith, friendship, and shared memories!

It was an eventful Sunday with Jonah filled with church, a couple’s photoshoot, an escape room, and a romantic dinner at Perry’s. I had no idea what was coming next. We were headed to our friend Ana’s “birthday party,” but when we arrived, the house was quiet. A candlelit path led to the backyard, where our families stood waiting. Jonah turned to me, nervous but smiling, and dropped to one knee. “Will you marry me?” he asked. With tears in my eyes, I said, “Yes!” and was surrounded by love and cheers. It was the happiest moment of my life! We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
