Museum staff noted shoes are required, guests wearing heels may wish to bring an additional pair for dancing. Additionally, the museum’s fire detection system is very sensitive, and vaping indoors will trigger the alarm. We kindly ask all guests to respect this policy to avoid any disruption to our wedding celebration. Lastly, due to venue restrictions our after party will be limited to 21+.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be limited to guests ages 15 and older. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration, and we truly appreciate your understanding. If you’re traveling from out of town, we kindly suggest arranging local childcare or bringing along a trusted sitter to stay with your children while you attend our celebration.

Ceremony There is a small parking lot along N. Dithridge Street on the side of the Cathedral. Street parking as well as an additional lot on N. Dithridge (between Fifth and Forbes) also available. Reception Guest Drop-Off If you are dropping off guests or getting dropped off, please use the museum’s Carriage Drive entrance, located at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bellefield Avenue. Reception Parking Information Carnegie Museum garage parking will be covered for all guests, so you won’t need to worry about payment. Before leaving, please stop by a Special Events staff member to receive a parking validation.
