Denver Botanic Gardens

This is a favorite of ours, and a wonderful spot to enjoy the late summer weather. Check out the Japanese gardens, the Bonsai collection and the greenhouse! They have a coffee shop right outside and a restaurant in the garden.
Yellow Mountain Tea House
2616 West Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
When Ry and T lived in Colorado Springs together, this was one of their first and favorite date spots. The tea ceremony is amazing, the tea and dumplings are even better. Try our order: White jasmine tea and oolong with shumai and bao buns. Then, take a walk down Old Colorado City main street! It's worth the drive.
Staunton State Park

A State Park just outside our venue. If you're staying the weekend in Pine or Conifer, this is a beautiful spot for hiking, hanging out and enjoying Colorado's scenery.
