Allison: Sean and I met over Bumble. Let me start by saying that dating apps are atrocious. But, I will always be grateful to them for introducing me to my best friend. After our first date, I knew that Sean was someone I hoped to have in my life for the long run. We weathered a pandemic and many emotional events together, and I believe our relationship has become even stronger and healthier because of it. I am forever thankful for the humor, safety, and joy that Sean brings to my life each day, and I cannot wait to marry him. Sean: A classic story of swiping right. Neither one of us were big fans of the dating site, but how much can you really complain when you find the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with? We spent a little bit of time talking to each other before our first date, but it was pretty obvious that there was something different about her. I was absolutely stunned to see she was more beautiful than I could have even imagined. We had quite a few dates right in the beginning, and then the world had a huge change. Meeting and dating a new person during the times of covid is not without its own challenges. Through all of the major life events in 2020, it only made us grow closer as a couple.
