Nick and Karlee first met on January 28th, 2023, at Queens University of Charlotte in the Byrum dorm while playing card games. Their mutual friends—Masen, Nick’s baseball teammate, and Sarah, Karlee’s field hockey teammate and Masen’s girlfriend—had a feeling the two would hit it off, and they were right. After that fun night, Nick asked Karlee to join him for Waffle House and church the next morning. That Sunday became unforgettable—Nick later said it was the day he knew Karlee was the one. Watching her worship filled his heart with a deep love and admiration. From that moment on, their relationship blossomed. Through the challenges of nursing school and field hockey, Nick was always there—steadfast, loving, and protective. Karlee quickly fell in love with Nick’s gentle heart and unwavering patience. Now, they’re excited to begin their next chapter—building a lifelong, love-filled, Christ-centered marriage.
