UPDATE: ALL ROOMS IN THE LODGE HAVE BEEN BOOKED! The lodge is connected to the event space and therefore closest accommodations. The rooms at the lodge sleep 1-2 people, there are very limited rooms that accommodate 4. The lodge currently offer 10 rooms - each with a different theme (with an additional 10 to open in 2020 before our wedding). The lodge includes a light continental breakfast and has mountain views to take your breath away! Rooms at the lodge are first come first serve. If you are interested in staying there, be sure to let us know as soon as possible and we will add you to the list. We will give you instructions for payment closer to the wedding.

Lydia Mountain Cabins
Here is the link to all available cabins for the weekend. Cabins come in 1 to 4 bedroom and can sleep 4-15 people depending on the size. Cabins are a great option for families or a group of friends wanting to spend the weekend together. Cabins have a 2-3 night minimum stay, perfect for those planning on staying the weekend with us! The cabins are modern with running water and bathrooms (most even have hot tubs!), and all linens and towels are provided. Most cabins are within a 5 mile radius of the lodge. October is an extremely busy month in the beautiful blue ridge mountains and Shenandoah National Park, so please book early - like NOW. Lydia Mountain Rustic Motel is another lodging option ideal for 1 to 2 people max. Please keep in mind that there are 3 locations for the motel. The Stanardsville location will be the best option as it is closest to the Lodge. The rustic motel is the most budget friendly option for a solo traveler or a couple. October is an extremely busy season in the beautiful blue ridge mountains and Shenandoah National Park, so please book early!

If all of the other options are full or you would rather stay in a regular ol' hotel, the Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is your closest option. The hotel is approximately 14 miles and 20-25 minutes from the venue. There is a block of rooms reserved, call and ask to reserve a room within the "Kunkel Wedding Block" by Sept 12, 2020 to ensure you get one!

From Detroit, you would have to connect. CHO is the closest airport, 20 miles and approximately 30 minutes from the venue.
