Alpha and I attended Towson University for undergrad but never met or crossed paths until our friend connected us, two years after graduation, in 2021. As typical millennials, we followed each other on social media but never met in person. We finally met at Alpha's first solo art show in Baltimore. We talked for 15 minutes and didn't reconnect for another eight weeks! After going on a few dates, getting to know each other, and letting the butterflies do their thing, we took each other off the market in September 2022. At the same time, Alpha packed his things and moved to Boston for graduate school. For the next year and eight months (even after our engagement) we had to travel 300 miles to see each other, and spent most of our time laughing and sharing our lives with each other through the phone. On December 16, 2023, we decided on forever and became engaged, leaving the rest to history.
