The closest airport to Santa Cruz, California is SJC (San Jose Mineta International Airport), approximately a 1-hr drive from the venue. OAK (Oakland International Airport) and SFO (San Francisco International Airport) are other good options approximately a 2-hour drive away from the venue. The most affordable way to do it is to book an Airbnb or Vrbo in the Santa Cruz area and split it with other guests. There are several hotels close to the venue that offer different nightly rates. We've included recommendations below, but we encourage you to look online as there are many options. We are looking at getting a hotel block and will put that information here ASAP. You'll be able to get around Santa Cruz easily during normal hours using rideshare (Uber, Lyft) and should be able to find rideshare from the airport to the venue fairly easily. An Uber from SJC to the venue should be around $90 during normal hours, but keep in mind that prices fluctuate. During off hours, especially if you rent a more remote Airbnb, finding a ride can be a little bit difficult in the Santa Cruz area. We'd recommend a rental car if you plan to explore the Central Coast as there are plenty of things to do where rideshare is sparse. There is plenty of parking at the venue. Parking at the Beach Boardwalk and Capitola is usually paid parking.
