We’re getting married!

On March 30th, We woke up and decided to go fishing. We packed up, headed out to Mardon and started fishing. We were meeting up with some friends, so we stayed close to the shoreline. After a few minutes of messing around Danny asked me to come dance with him while we waited for our friends to arrive. He turned on our favorite song and we slow danced. Next thing I know, Danny dropped to one knee and asked “will you marry me.” I ecstatically said yes, and well here we are. After a surreal few moments, He pointed to the shore, where my best friend was watching and videoed the whole thing. For those of you who have gone fishing at 7 am, you know it can be cold. Danny not only proposed to me while we did one of our favorite things together, but he proposed to me while I was wearing his hunting jacket and sweat pants. If that’s not true love then I don’t know what is. We continued to fish for a few hours, and then headed back home. When we arrived, Danny had all of our friends and family waiting at the house. They had decorated our living room & made tacos, our favorite! We spent the remainder of the day with some of our favorite people and later on went out again to catch one of the biggest walleyes I have ever caught. To say the least, March 30th was the most perfect day, and we can’t wait to celebrate August 3rd with all of you!
