Saint Lucia's daily high temperatures in June is 86° and daily low temperatures is 85°. The best time to visit the island is between May and June. Temperatures are warm yet mild (highs in the 70s and 80s), and the crowds are virtually non-existent.

Yes, most locations in Saint Lucia accept US dollars. It is a good idea to convert a small amount of cash to the Eastern Caribbean dollar. Keep in mind there are some places, where cards will not be accepted, so please make sure to have cash.

A passport valid for six months out is required to enter St. Lucia. Most North American and European passport holders do not need a visa to visit the island–just be sure you have proof of a return ticket. Residents must present their Alien Resident Card (Green Card) together with passport of country for which they hold citizenship. It is a good idea to make clear copies of travel documents as well as a backup.
