Things To Do

While we know most of you will be familiar with all the famous icons sunny Orlando has to offer, we wanted to share some of our favorites outside of those. The list below is organized by things closest to our ceremony & reception at Rollins College and spreading out from there.

Rollins Museum of Art

1000 Holt Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

Located on the Rollins College campus, art lovers will enjoy this free museum. Monday: Closed Tuesday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday, Sunday: Noon - 5 pm

RICCUP

127 West Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

A delicious quick service Korean restaurant located directly across the street from Rollins College. The bowls are excellent and you will definitely have leftovers!

Park Avenue Pizza

119 East Lyman Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

Tasty quick and affordable thin-crust pizza, served by the slice or by the pie. We highly recommend the Bianca or "Christmas" pizza, with fluffy balls of cheese and chunks of tomato. Made perfectly every time by a lovely local family.

Scenic Boat Tour

312 East Morse Boulevard, Winter Park, FL 32789

Running Monday-Sunday, guests can join an 18 passenger boat tour on the pristine Winter Park chain of Lakes. Tours leave every hour from 10am-4pm, with the last tour leaving at 4:00 p.m. Adults: $20.00 Children (2-11): $10.00 Group Rates Available

Chuy's

170 South Orlando Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

A Mexican chain from Texas, you can't go wrong with Chuy's. The cilantro cream sauce, the fresh house-made tortilla chips and fluffy tortillas, the delicious margaritas, sizzling fajitas and stuffed Chuy-changas... I'm making myself hungry.

Pig Floyds Urban Barbakoa

1326 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803

Excellent BBQ options, including pulled or sliced pork sandwiches, Bahn Mi's, yuca fries, and Mexican street corn. Can you sense a pattern in what kind of food we eat?

Pour Choice Taphouse

1225 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803

A great place where you can pour your own drinks so you can try one of the many options they have lining the wall, including ciders, sours, IPAs, wine, and more. Folks are encouraged to bring in outside food or grab something from the food truck that is usually parked outside.

TaKo Cheena

948 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803

Another local favorite with great tacos. Grab 3 or 4 and you should be set and stuffed.

Chi-Kin

813 North Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803

Savory and delicious. Definitely get the yuzu-tossed chicken and the Mexican street corn.

Ming’s Bistro

1212 Woodward Street, Orlando, FL 32803

A Favis Family Favorite, Ming's Bistro. Great casual dim sum and classic Chinese eats.

Sampaguita Ice Cream

1233 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

A locally created and owned Filipino-American desserts and ice cream shop. Very tasty!

Pho Vinh

657 South Primrose Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

Another Favis Family favorite, stop in to Pho Vinh's for great local Vietnamese food.

Anh Hong Restaurant

1124 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

Another local Vietnamese shop that is sure to please. Great pho among other choices.

Flyers Wings & Grill

5621 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808

While it may not look like much on the outside (or on the inside, to be fair), this is an Alonso Family favorite for some of the best chicken wings in Orlando.

Sofrito Latin Cafe

8607 Palm Parkway, Orlando, FL 32836

If you're in the Lake Buena Vista / Disney Resort area, we highly recommend Sofrito Latin Cafe! Great bang for your buck with some of the best Latin food in Central Florida, including Cuban and Venezuelan staples. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

7105 Palm Parkway, Orlando, FL 32836

I'd be remised if I didn't include one of Chris' favorite places to grab a quick, satisfying bite: Raising Cane's. We recommend the Caniac Combo, which can easily satisfy two. Sub out that slaw for extra fries or more garlic toast and you'll be set. ;)

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

8167 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819

Our favorite burger restaurant. I mean, bottomless fries, delicious bottomless freckled strawberry lemonade...you can't go wrong.

Arcade Monsters - International Drive

6362 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819
, 4072505680

Our favorite arcade. All guests must purchase an entry pass, which will grant you unlimited play on everything inside for as many hours as you'd like. The games being offered rotate regularly, with new and retro arcade machines, pinball, dance games, skee-ball, and much, much more. Plus, the Cuban sandwich and burgers at the bar are excellent, and they have a wide range of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Hokkaido Chinese & Japanese Buffet

12173 South Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL 32836

Can't go wrong with a buffet. Two locations for this, with the listed one being closer to the Disney Resort area, and there is another one closer to Old Town in Kissimmee (closer if you're staying near Lake Nona).

Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park Zip Line

7625 Sinclair Road, Kissimmee, FL 34747

Super fun park with a variety of levels, from beginners to experienced. We somehow survived this, motivated by Physical 100, quickly figuring out that we were not made to be on Physical 100...but we had a lot of fun either way. Definitely recommend!

Blue Springs State Park

2100 W. French Ave., Orange City, FL 32763

Blue Springs is a beautiful state park that will often have manatees during the winter time, especially on cold days. Highly recommend if you'd like some prime manatee viewing!

Buc-ee's

2330 Gateway North Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32117

Everyone with a soul will love Buc-ee's. If you decide to have a beach day, our closest Buc-ee's is conveniently located on the way out to Daytona Beach, though there is another on the way to St Augustine, another lovely day trip. We recommend several different types of sandwiches and wraps, the Salted Caramel Beaver Nuggets, a large Icee, a special edition Daytona Beach Buc-ee's t-shirt, and some beef jerky (try samples before buying). You won't be disappointed.
