Lihue Airport, Kauai

Lihue is the best place to fly into. It is located on the southeast coast of the island. All wedding festivities will take place on the South Shore of Kauai. We highly recommend scheduling transportation or renting a vehicle in advance. (airport code: LIH) The Lihue Airport (LIH) is about a 30-minute drive to the resorts in the Koloa & Poipu area.

The Sheraton is on the water with the BEST beach access and is a quick 5 minutes from the ceremony venue.

Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu

Another gorgeous resort in Poipu. Marriott managed property, a block from the water, great pools, full kitchens & washer/dryers in larger rooms. It's very close to the wedding venue and all wedding events! This resort has up to three bedroom villas which can sleep up to ten people.

Kuhio Shores Oceanfront Condos

These condos are literally 30 feet in walking distance to the wedding venue, The Beach House Restaurant. You will have a gorgeous view of the ocean, surfers, lava rock, and the sea turtles. Not to mention, you can stumble back to your room after the wedding!

House Or Rental

Airbnb/VRBO

Kauai has a great selection of Airbnb's/Vrbo's around the island. The weekend activities are located on the South Shore/Southeast Coast of the island, but you will love any location. The Bride and Groom will be renting a house 5 mins away from the venue

Rental Car

Any car rental service

We do recommend renting a car while staying in Kauai. Rental cars are scarce due to low inventory so we suggest renting ASAP. If you cannot find a car rental for your dates of stay we suggest the following alternatives: TURO - Like AIRBNB but for cars Scheduling an UBER/LYFT to and from the airport to your place of stay - you can schedule this 30 days prior (we recommend this) On call UBER/LYFT/Taxi - The island does have these services but we were advised by our wedding planner that on call services are not as reliable as they are on the mainland (longer wait times, less vehicles, less drivers etc) Paid airport transfers - some hotels do offer shuttle transport services to and from hotels for a fee -check with your hotel
