Zach and Sara's love story began on a dating app called "Hinge". Who would have thought it would lead to this! We had plans to go on a proper date a few weeks after we had connected on the app. However, after a fun Southie Sunday with some friends, Sara decided she couldn't wait any longer to meet Zach. She called him up and invited herself over to hang out with him. The uber ended up dropping her off at the wrong house and in the excitement of meeting for the first time, Zach stuck his head through the screen window trying to find her. There, running down the street in her "fun sweater" (a neon yellow sweater that couldn't be missed), was Sara and from the moment they locked eyes, lets just say the rest is history.

The big day. For months, Sara and Zach's family had been planning his 30th birthday party. They came up with a plan to host family and friends at his mom's house in Braintree, but to Sara's eventual surprise, Zach was creating a plan of his own. Zach had bought the ring a month before his party, and originally had a plan for a Labor Day proposal. However, things changed quickly when he went into Boston to pick up the ring just a few days before his birthday party. As soon as he saw the ring he knew he couldn't wait. After asking Sara's mom for her hand in marriage, Zach ended up proposing to Sara in front of everyone at his birthday party. The weather had been a bit iffy that day and the forecast called for rain and severe thunderstorms. Luckily, the rain held off and not more than 5 minutes after Zach asked the big question, the skies opened with rain! Everyone continued the celebrations despite the crazy rainfall and we had an incredible night.
