“Our story spans 35 years. We first met when we were both twelve-year-old kids in high school and became playmates during our breaks. As we grew up, we lost touch during our college days.” Rodel got in touch with Alona again through one of her best friends, Evelyn (may she rest in peace), who provided her phone number. Alona and Rodel rekindled their friendship and became best friends once again. They kept in touch sporadically throughout different stages of their lives, living separate lives in different countries. They have both experienced many different things and learned valuable life lessons along the way. Now, after 35 years, their paths have realigned, and in God’s time, they have found their way back to each other.
