We have postponed our Wedding Celebration to Friday, February 18, 2022. We will be combining this celebration with our daughter, Gianna Noelani's 1st Birthday. Invitation to follow in the next few months. We hope you can join us! Love, Rochelle, Paulo and Gianna
Dear Family and Friends, On February 12, 2021, we welcomed the newest addition to our growing family, Gianna Noelani Semilla Bautista, a month early from her due date. At this time, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and with the current restrictive guidelines from our wedding venue, we have decided to once again postpone our May 8, 2021 wedding to early 2022. A definite date is yet to be determined. Your health and safety is our number one priority and we will keep you posted about our new plans later in the year. We wish you nothing but love and good health and look forward to celebrating together! Love, Rochelle and Paulo
Dear Family & Friends, We are in the process of making a final decision if we will be moving forward or postponing our May 8, 2021 wedding. For the health and safety of our growing family with Baby Girl on the way, we are taking in every precaution necessary for all our loved ones, especially due to the uncertainty of the ongoing pandemic. We will keep everyone posted and informed of our decision. We wish you all love and good health. With Love, Rochelle and Paulo
Our wedding celebration date has been moved to Saturday, May 8, 2021. Please refer back to our wedding website should there be any changes. Love, Rochelle & Paulo
It was summer 2006 when I first met Paulo. I was in New Jersey visiting relatives during summer. James was taking me out shopping, as per usual when I go there, LOL. He had Paulo drive us around and we went to majority of the malls in one day.
Many of us were in Las Vegas for my cousin Bernadette's wedding. I already knew Paulo from the several times I visited New Jersey and it was always the cordial, "hello, how are you?," whenever we see each other. All of the cousins hung out the night after the wedding and the day after. I was hanging out at Auntie Virgie's house when a few people while others went to The Strip. We were hanging out, talking, and a few of us also went out that night to Old Las Vegas. We exchanged numbers (I think?) when we all went our separate ways after. At the time, I was living in Pittsburgh, PA. We were sending each other snapchats and texting each other. I spent Thanksgiving a few weeks after the wedding in New Jersey that year, and Black Friday, Paulo took me around New York. From there, the rest is history.
One of the best and most memorable day so far. When I (Rochelle) thought we were just going to have lunch then wine tasting with the girls, Benalyn and Anne, little did I knew there were other plans in place. Arriving at the winery, and wondering what these two ladies were doing talking in low whispering voices, Anne holding a DSLR camera, wondering why she had brought it. Then those two walking to the back of the winery saying that’s where the entrance was and just standing there until finally going to the actual entrance on the other side. And then both of them whispering to each other and me wondering why they both acting so weird, but just didn’t make a comment about it. Then as I thought that I was going in the entrance, Paulo comes out of no where and my response was, “What the hell? What are you doing here? What is happening,” He took me by the hand and started walking me to the fountain. At this point, tears are already coming and he said, “I know you’ve been asking and bugging about it for a while. We’ve been on so many trips before. Will you take the biggest trip of all with me?" And you got down on one knee and asked me to marry you. I’ve already had my ugly cry going on with waterfall tears coming down and I just nodded and said, “Yes!,” with Benalyn and Anne in the background saying, “Yaaay,” and “Finally!”
