I’m looking forward to celebrating not only these two getting married but yet another milestone/ celebration in everyone’s life. These kinds of moments happen once in a lifetime and one thing we can always guarantee is bringing everyone together for the greater good.

I've known Manong Rommel forever. It all started when his brother—Tairy the Fairy—Loren, and I formed our iconic trio back in middle school, which carries on till today. We were inseparable, and like any tight-knit teenage trio, we had our wild ideas, questionable fashion choices, and inside jokes that probably still make no sense to Manong till this day. Through all of it, Manong was there—not just in the background, but playing the role of being our big brother. One memory that always sticks with me is when we joined a dance team. Manong not only supported us, but he showed up. He was there for almost every performance and competition. He even endured all our chaotic car rides when driving us to and from practices. His support is what always stood out about Manong. He’s funny, protective, and consistently puts family-first—which has always led me to see him as a big brother. Thank you for everything Manong! I love you!

I met Joy in Manong's car after dance practice. I remember feeling intimidated yet entertained. Joy had this energy—straightforward but so funny and warm. She was cursing in Ilocano while playfully smacking Manong’s arm as he tried to drive, and I couldn’t stop laughing. From there, me, Loren, and Tairy the Fairy found ourselves at Joy and Manong’s place every weekend. Whether it was a random adventure or just some chaotic bonding time, we were there. It didn’t take long for me to grow close to her girls, Jay Jay and Jaeden—who were only 4 and 2 years old at the time (cue the tears). They immediately stole my heart, and I easily treated them like my own nieces. Then came Malu and Keli, our little gremlins. I made it my mission to make sure they feel the same love and warmth their parents had always shown me. Fast forward a few years, Joy becomes an ARMY. BTS got her good during the pandemic. And of course, that meant I had no choice but to follow. Before we knew it, we were deep into the world of K-pop and K-dramas, FaceTiming and crying over fictional characters, and making frequent H Mart trips. It became our bonding and comfort during a really hard time in the world. I always knew we’d have a bond like no other. She’s the perfect mix of real-talk and bubbly positivity. Words can’t fully describe how thankful I am for her and the beautiful friendship we’ve built. I can’t wait to continue making memories and reaching new milestones—side by side. I love you so much Noonzie!

Hi! I’m Jessica - Joy’s Matron of Honor. I have 3 daughters and am currently in my sports mom era. I met Rommel in 2004. He is best friends with my then boyfriend, Joe - who is now my husband and also one of Rommel’s groomsmen. 5 years later, I met Joy thru Rommel and other mutual friends. Once they started dating, our adventures began 💕. I can’t wait to celebrate 2 of my close friends and make core memories

Hello my name is Geodi, I am Rommel’s cousin. I’ve known Rommel since I was a kid but we didn’t really get close until we older, he’s really like a big brother to me. I had the pleasure of meeting Joy I think a year after they started dating but since then we’ve gotten close over the years. I’m one of the many people that have been lucky enough to watch their love grow to what it is now and I’m sure just like everyone else is super happy that they finally tied the knot 😂. I’m one of the groomsmen and my role is to just make sure that they both have fun on their special day and surround them with love. Congratulations you two, I love y’all!

Hi my government name is Loren but the bride and groom know me as Tweety as well as Malu’s ninang! I’m so honored to be one of Joy’s bridesmaids. A short backstory of how I know the two. I’ve known Manong Rommel practically my whole life. Our moms are best friends and we even lived together for a while. Nanang helped take care of Tj and I while our moms worked, so we grew up as a family. I met Joy back in my sophomore year of high school. I still remember the day so clearly, Manong picked me up from Wilcox and then we headed to Cabrillo to pick up Tj. That’s when I saw Joy for the first time. She was wearing a black tank top, a blue Hawaii skirt, and all-black Vans. It’s funny how some moments just stick with you because I know Joy would still wear this fit to this day. I’ve had the privilege of knowing this couple since the very beginning of their journey together. Watching their love grow and family over the years has been so beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate this next chapter with them. I love both of them deeply, and I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding!

My first time meeting Ro and Joy were at separate times. I met Ro through my brother in law Rizz and we instantly clicked after playing Call of Duty together and since then we've been getting no dubs but all fun and laughs playing COD and also playing basketball when we get the chance. I met Joy at their house during her kiddos Malu and Keliana's birthday. It took a while for us to even say a word to each other because we're both shy, but after turning up together like little maniac's (even though she tries not to drink but I have the worst peer pressure) we're now more closer than ever. My name is Tau, I am one of the groomsmen and I’m honored to be part of your big day! Hi! My name is Angeli Solanzo, and I am so excited to be part of Manong Rommel and Joy’s big day as a bridesmaid. The first time I met Manong, I was either 9 or 10 years old. He took me, my sister, his brother, and our other cousin to a Nicki Minaj concert in Oakland—one of my favorite memories with Manong, France, Loren, and Teejay. Meeting Joy for the first time was also unforgettable—I rode in the trunk of her and Manong’s car on the way to the park. I can just picture 10-year-old Angeli lying in the trunk right now really scared, but even then, I knew I would love spending time with Joy and Manong. Over the years we’ve spent together, we’ve done so much—whether it was eating Korean BBQ at their house, helping with party prep, or even getting into BTS and K-pop (thanks to Joy!). When I was asked to be a bridesmaid, I felt so happy and honored. Being part of their big day means so much to me, and I am beyond excited to witness them become husband and wife. Heeey party people! My name is Maureen, but everyone calls me Moren. I am Manang Joy’s cousin through marriage - I met her when her uncle married my auntie! Since then, she’s been the perfect amount of crazy that I need in life. At the same time, she always keeps me grounded and sane - just as a manang should. I don’t remember the exact time or how I met Manong Ro, but I do remember him being the same chill person he is today. He’s always down to hang out and just vibe, sharing good laughs and memories. Together, Manang and Manong balance each other’s personalities and complement one another, perfectly!! I was honored when Manang asked me to be a part of their special day!
