FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 9, 2025. You’re welcome to RSVP even before receiving the formal invitation—the sooner, the better!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding venue is 'Adult Only' due to limited capacity. Infants up to one year old can be accommodated. Please text the Bride or Groom to let us know if you plan to bring your baby. Some of our friends may make childcare arrangements by traveling with family members who can help watch their kids. If this is an option for you, it might be a great way to enjoy the celebration and book that much needed family trip.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding guest list is limited to those listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes ‘& Guest,’ we’d love for you to bring someone! Otherwise, we kindly ask that only the named guests attend. Kindly text the Bride or Groom if you would like to bring a guest to the wedding.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you're staying in Waikiki, you likely won't need to rent a car. Most shops, restaurants, and beaches are within easy walking distance, and ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available and may be used for scheduled wedding events. However, if you plan to extend your stay and explore more of the island beyond Waikiki, renting a car is a great option!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach Formal Attire Please avoid: Shorts, jeans, flip-flops, T-shirts, and overly casual beachwear. We appreciate your effort in dressing up for our special day!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our gatherings and wedding celebration will be in the vibrant Waikiki area of Honolulu, Oahu. We recommend staying central to the event locations for convenience and to enjoy the vibrant area. Popular options include: The Royal Hawaiian Moana Surfrider OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach Kaimana Beach Hotel (Wedding Venue) We suggest checking out VRBO and Airbnb for a variety of options. The Bride and Groom have booked their stay at the Aston at the Waikiki Banyan through Midway Vacations. Please reach out directly to us if you'd like to stay in the same or close location.
