Shang and Billy unknowingly lived in the same apartment complex. They were so close that their back porches faced each other and their cars were parked about 10 spaces away. They were still kids; not quite 21 years old. It wasn't their time. A few years later, Billy worked as an on-call interpreter at Shang's dental office, just blocks away from her house. She heard the translator behind the partition as she sat waiting for the dentist. It was just a voice; without a face, without a name. They had yet to meet. After all, love is patient. It was the summer of 2008 and Shang's brother (Czar) brought her to his friend Josh's house party. It was chill, but there was this loud group of guys in the the kitchen, having too much fun. The goofiest one making everyone laugh was Billy. They noticed each other but had yet to speak. A year later, Shang went to the same house for another party. It was getting late and the crowd started to slowly peel away. Then, in walks a guy with a UW hoodie and Czar says, "Hey, it's Billy!" as if it was some local celebrity...hahaha! ...and so it began. Chance? Fate? Whatever you call it, they were meant to experience life just as it happened, so they could fall in love by God's design.
