FAQs

If you have any questions, other than what we have listed here, please feel free to reach out to Tim or Lindsey directly.
Question

When should I RSVP by? and how?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 30, 2021!!!! Please complete the online RSVP (RSVP tab) once you have your invitation, and mail back the RSVP card ASAP!

Question

If I got an invitation, does that mean I am on the final list to attend the wedding?

Answer

No. There is a chance that (depending on how many RSVP’s we get back and the Governor’s May guideline) that we will have to unfortunately “uninvite” people at the last minute. We will notify you via email if there are any changes to your invitation. Please pray for us.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We are having a semi-adults only event. Select children will be in attendance, specifically the ones who are a part of the wedding party or our immediate family. If your child's name was included on the invitation, your child is invited to attend. Please do not include anyone in your RSVP who does not fit in the number of seats that have been reserved for you.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The doors will open at 6:00 PM and the ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM. Please be prompt, we don't want to delay this party any longer!

Question

What is formal attire?

Answer

For this event, formal means a suit or nice pants and a blazer for men. Tuxedos if you're so inclined. Women have a wide variety of options, including cocktail dresses, pants/skirt and a blouse, pantsuit, or evening jumpsuit.

Question

Is the wedding going to be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside the museum's main atrium, Huber Court. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be held right outside of the museum in Mary's Garden. For the reception, we will gather back together in Huber Court for a night full of fun!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is free on site, and the lot is located directly outside of the museum.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest," you may bring a date. Otherwise, we would prefer to just share our special day with the people whose names are listed directly on the envelope. Please do not include anyone in your RSVP who does not fit in the number of seats that have been reserved for you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Tim and Lindsey will be staying at Hilton Norfolk, The Main. Check out our accommodations page to get the deets on the hotel block.

Question

Can I take photos/post photos of the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony: We are requesting an unplugged ceremony. We want everyone to enjoy the moment with us...BUT - don't worry, we have hired someone to capture the special moment and we trust that she will get the perfect shots! During the Reception: Snap as many photos as you would like! Remember to use our hashtag, #ForeverAndAgreste

Question

Is there going to be an open bar?

Answer

The bar will open for beer, wine and signature cocktails following the ceremony. We ask that you please make arrangements for transportation following the nights' events. Click on the accommodations tab to book your stay at a nearby hotel where we have a room block, or plan to utilize uber or lyft. If we love you enough to invite you to our wedding, we don't want you driving under the influence.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see the "registry" page of this website.

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception will end and the doors will close at 11:30 PM.

Question

Is the party over when the reception is over?

Answer

If you know us, then you know that we will be celebrating into the night and we would love for you to join us. After the reception we plan to party on at Grain, the rooftop bar at Hilton Norfolk The Main.

Question

Why weren't Sally and Sam invited?

Answer

Please understand that inviting EVERYONE was just not something that could have been possible. One day when we hit the lottery and we aren’t in a pandemic, we promise to throw a second wedding where EVERYONE we know will be invited. Thank you for understanding and please know that if anyone shows up to the Chrysler Museum of Art on May 28, 2021 whom was not invited, they will want to bring a chair, a PB&J, and their iPad to watch Netflix in their car. ;) One final reminder, please do not include anyone in your RSVP who does not fit in the number of seats that have been reserved for you.
