Destiny and Giovanny met at Casa Restaurant and Lounge in the Bronx, NY. A mutual friend told Destiny that Giovanny was interested. A few minutes later, Giovanny approached Destiny and asked for her number. Destiny was hesitant at first, however, continued going to Casa with her friends. About a month later, Destiny saw Giovanny there again. They began talking… and here we are today.

On July 31, 2020 at 3:39 am, our beautiful baby boy was born.

On Mother’s Day 2021, Giovanny asked Destiny to “help” organize the gifts he bought for his mom. When Destiny picked up one of the gifts, she felt something shaking inside. Destiny asked “what’s in there?” Giovanny replied, “I don’t know, open it.” When Destiny opened it, she saw a ring box. Destiny opened the box and boom… instant tears. Destiny had a very happy Mother’s Day.

On April 27, 2022, Destiny and Giovanny were on their way to the Bronx, NY to go to work when they realized traffic was so bad that they would be extremely late. Giovanny decided to call out. Destiny then agreed to do the same. Little Giovanny II was in the Bronx with his grandmother so Destiny continued to drive down anyway. Suddenly, Giovanny says, “turn around and go back to Connecticut… let’s get married today”. Destiny responds, “you’re not serious” to which Giovanny replies, “yes I am”. Destiny got off at the next exit and turned around. Destiny and Giovanny went to the mall and bought wedding bands and then went to city hall in West Haven, CT for a beautiful private ceremony. It was very spontaneous and romantic.
