Toby & I met in December 2016 in Odenton Maryland, when we went to support his daughter/my friend on her promotion to Major. He was checking me out & I was checking him out, but neither of us made a move. A few months later I returned to Maryland to teach a class. When I visited Angelique (Toby’s daughter/my friend), Bobby (also my friend from Turkey) & the kids, I asked for Toby’s phone number & the rest is history.

The struggle has been REAL. Distance created insecurities; insecurities created challenges; and challenges created distance between us. Thank God that the distance, insecurities and challenges caused us to seek our Savior fervently through prayer. Prayer brought us closer and with God being the center of our relationship, we are now stronger and better.
