Welcome to Our Love Story

David and Alma met on June 26th, 2022. They enjoyed their first date at a Mexican restaurant on Lake Superior. As the summer progressed with coffee dates and outdoor adventures, the two became inseparable. Before they knew it, reading in hammocks & annual blueberry picking would become traditions and the "L word" would be shared.

The spring of 2023 Alma graduated with her first nursing degree and decided to continue her education with another advanced nursing program. David decided to leave the U.S. Army after 6 years to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. With the adventures ahead, the couple decided to take the leap to join homes and adopt a dog together. June 2023 they welcomed their rescue pitbull named Cedar Pumpkin into their developing family.

David invited Alma to join him in Florida to visit his parents for New Years and take a break from the endless homework. While there, David surprised Alma with a beachside hotel room in Fort Myers for a night before departing back home. On January 4. 2024 David proposed to Alma on the Gulf of Mexico. Once the pair returned home, wedding planning began while the homework continued.
