Our story began in the halls of Grand Terrace High School—not as students, but as coworkers. What started as simple hellos and shared responsibilities quickly grew into a genuine friendship. Day by day, we found ourselves looking forward to seeing each other more and more. Laughter became part of our routine, and conversations started to linger long after the bell rang. Eventually, the idea of spending time together beyond work felt natural. Our first date was a cozy lunch over a bowl of ramen, followed by a walk through a nearby park where we started to see each other in a new light. One date turned into another—this time to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We explored sea life, enjoyed burgers at Five Guys, and took a walk along the pier. That evening, under the soft ocean breeze, we shared our first kiss—a quiet moment that told us this was only the beginning of something truly special. Our bond grew even stronger during a time that could have made it difficult: the COVID-19 pandemic. While others were distanced, we found ways to grow closer. We never missed a day, and getting to know each other on a deeper level became our joy. We fell in love with the way we carried ourselves and cared for one another. Jordan’s kind heart, respectfulness, humor, and that unforgettable smile (not to mention his curly hair!) completely captured Alma’s heart. For Jordan, it was Alma’s grounded nature, her faith in God, her sense of humor, and her beautiful soul that stood out the most. After six incredible years together, on December 31st, 2024, Jordan asked Alma to marry him. It was the most magical night—an elegant dinner at a restaurant in Anaheim Garden Walk, surrounded by white linens, dim lights, and a three-course meal. Afterward, we walked through the garden where white roses and petals were carefully arranged. Jordan gave a heartfelt speech, got down on one knee, and asked Alma to be his forever—just as fireworks lit up the night sky. With tears of joy, she said yes. Then, from around the corner, our families emerged, having been part of the surprise all along. It was a moment straight out of a dream that the Lord had in His plans all along. And now, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter of our journey—with all of you by our side.
