Luis had been a regular at the gym for a while, and I was in search of a place to take my fit journey "serious" for the 10th time. Luis reached out to me and suggested I go to his gym. I was hesitant at first, but we agreed on a date and time. Little did we know this would become our new normal. Once I arrived, I saw a handsome and muscular man walking towards me and he greeted me with a warm smile on his face. All I could think was wow this is the Luis that's been trying to talk to me. (inside joke) We worked out together and pushed each other through our sets. Ultimately I had to leave mid gym session, I wasn't sure if my arms were shaking because of the workout or because how nervous he made feel. Months went by and our gym sessions turned into dates, and before I knew it, we were falling for each other. Looking back on our love story, I can't help but smile at the thought of how a chance on a gym led me to the love of my life.

My story goes a little more back than Allyza’s. I had came across Allyza on social media and I was immediately drawn to her beauty. I found myself constantly complimenting her on her posts. One day she adds a post saying that she’s going to be selling plates. I immediately buy some tickets excited to be given the chance to meet her. It's the day of the plate sale and she had been calling and texting me, but couldn't get ahold of me. I finally get a break at work and check my phone. All I see is a picture she sent saying she's waiting for me at DISCOUNT TITLE not DISCOUNT TIRE. I never got my plates since she ended up giving them away to the homeless. Years pass without us talking again and then I see her post asking for gym recommendations. I tell her to check out the gym I had been going to, and she agrees to go. After our first workout together I was always on the lookout for her car once I would get to the gym. One day I finally decided to ask her out and she said yes! Everything after that was just so perfect. One year in I knew she was the one for me. Sometimes I think why couldn't she just give me a chance so long ago. However, regardless of how long it took, I wouldn’t change anything at all from our journey.
