Lilah has been Allyssa's ride or die since her exodus from the same womb. Also termed "The Creative One" Lilah is an expert seamstress, beading artist, crocheter, and also happens to have an MD. She is also up for any adventure Allyssa throws her way. So far, Allyssa and Lilah have gotten lost together on Catalina Island, Mali Losinj Croatia, and Rome Italy. They plan on getting lost in many more places in the future. As the Maid of Honor, Lilah would also like to note that Brian Blalock claims a 50% stake in all comedic materials.

Allyssa and Aja's story starts in 2014 as freshmen in college, but now they are sisters for life. Noteable moments with Aja and Allyssa in college include: taking a Costco cart to Isla Vista to transport Allyssa's bed, Allyssa being the ultimate wingman, classic Icarus stories, playing grotesque games of DnD, and more. Since becoming a NorCal normie, Allyssa and Aja have people watched the interesting folks of Santa Cruz, watched the Valkyries devastating loss in San Jose, and watched Hallmark movies out of season (who would have guessed that the blind love interest would be the villain???). Weekly text updates from Aja and Allyssa include finding out they play the same shelf-stocking games, sending cat co-pooping videos, and the most absurd music ever imagined. They wouldn't have it any other way.

Alicia and Allyssa's story starts at Boulder Creek Elementary. Allyssa, being overwhelmed and confused with teaching first grade, Alicia opened the door to Room 5 and a halo appeared behind her head. She was there to take the students to P.E. BEST. NEWS. EVER. Alicia and Allyssa would spend hours in Room 5 cracking up about how insane it is to work at an elementary school where the average day includes sticky toys getting stuck on the roof, kids holding their boogers like pets on the rug, and hearing kids' parents' deepest darkest secrets from the mouth of a six-year-old. Allyssa knew Alicia was special when she offered to empty Allyssa's class "pee-bucket" for her, mistaking it as a euphemism for Allyssa's bladder. Since then, they have played copious games of beer die, watched many a football game (despite being fans of different teams), and enjoyed many Friday nights at Trout Farm. The inseparable duo, Alicia is Allyssa's home in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Stepmother of Dude, loving dog mother of Samson, Bekah has a heart of gold and an ass that won't quit. Allyssa and Bekah met in Santa Cruz, and became roommates with their two fur babies. It was a match made in heaven. Whether it was rocking out to the oldies at Cork and Fork, getting songs stuck in each other's heads, or enjoying a cozy night in of "parallel play", Bekah and Allyssa quickly became besties. She even joined the Blalock girls in San Diego for thanksgiving, and was only mildly overwhelmed! The lovely, beautiful, smart, and silly Bekah Bollin!

Aptly cast as prince charming in Mr. Saguill's 4th grade performance of "Cinderella", Colin quickly charmed Allyssa in grade school. In that same play, Allyssa was cast as the cat. It was love at first meow. They had many playdates with water balloon fights, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and Colin even made it out to the Blalock lake house. Their love was sealed when Colin bravely undertook Brian Blalock's wrath at the California lake house for dropping a wrapper in the water; forever known as the "Starburst" incident. Since then, Allyssa and Colin enjoyed high school together on the cross country and track teams, along with movie nights, and prom. Colin can always be counted on to bring the good vibes anywhere he goes, and always has a way of making people laugh. Colin has even ventured around the world with Allyssa in Norway and Costa Rica! Although he's not into women, he still finds himself surrounded by them, and he will yet again, as Allyssa's bridesman.

Pickleball champion of the entirety of Scripps Ranch, Dr. Christy Casteel knows no quit. Avid gymnast, mahjong player, race walker, chef, robot user, and more, Allyssa's mom picks up hobbies like their nothing, and then takes them to the max. During Covid, she learned how to cook vegetarian food for the family since Allyssa was moving back, and Allyssa still can't seem to get her cooking up to the same quality. While she can easily become the best at anything she sets her mind to, Christy has a big heart and a desire for logic and justice. Allyssa frequently finds herself trying to use logic in her job as a kinder teacher, but usually winds up having to use "kinder" logic instead.

Brian "They didn't have autism back in my day" Blalock is Allyssa's favorite person to talk to (and the only person she knows with a train garage that says that). They can talk about just about anything, and they did during COVID and still do. Although they frequently find themselves "agreeing to disagree" they can usually get in a good laugh while solving the world's problems. Brian is the person that inspired Allyssa to follow her passion of studying the ocean. He took it as a sign when he took her kayaking in La Jolla cove at age 3, when a Sea Lion and her pup swam up to the kayak, followed by a dolphin and her pup. "It must be show off your kid day!" he told her, "look, they're showing off their kids and I'm showing off mine."
