The first time we met, let's be honest I had googly eyes for him. However, he never paid much attention to me. Until a few months later we found each other again on social media . Well..more like he found me :) . Messages flooded back and forth to each other, until I showed up to pick him up after school. We talked for hours, HOURS before we realized it was almost midnight, on a school night ( OOOOPS!!) I had googly eyes for him then and have never stopped since :)
We had talked about going skiing for years, but we never got around to it. Until Colton and his friend convinced me to go to Red Lodge Mountain to "teach Allyssa how to ski." Little did I know getting off the ski lift is a little bit more difficult than they made it out to be. After we spent most the day on the bunny hills (thank you Colton and his friends for being patient). I got the hang of it. Why not up the difficulty a little bit. We rode up the mountain a little more where I was absolutely stopped dead in my tracks!! It was a straight drop compared to the bunny hills. It took me about a half-hour to get down 30 feet (not proud of it but hey!! I was terrified, and it was my first day!!) I fell and hit my head after tripping on my pole ( beginners luck) The ski patrol came down and lead us to the perfect pull off, with the most gorgeous view to "take pictures". Little did I know, ski patrol was videoing the whole time!! When were were posing for pictures Colton got down on one knee and popped the big question. I was elated and also so embarrassed!! Of course I said yes!!!!! Ski patrol said it was one of the weirdest stops he had ever made. But it was definietly a series of events I will NEVER forget, cheers to concussions...right?!?
