Ally first met Brady on a memorable St. Patrick's Day in 2023. After a long week, she decided to unwind with her coworkers at the local Pizza Pub to celebrate the holiday. Meanwhile, Brady was out with his friends at the Center City Pizza Pub. His younger sister, knowing he was nearby, decided to invite him to join her at the North Branch Pizza Pub where Ally was. Brady, being the good brother he is, agreed and made his way over. When Brady arrived, he was initially quite shy, as he often is with new people. One of his best friends ended up talking to Ally more than Brady did at first. Despite his reserved nature, there was something about Ally that drew him in. By the end of the night, Brady mustered up the courage to ask for Ally's Snapchat. From that moment on, their connection only grew stronger. They started spending more time together, discovering shared interests and building a bond that felt effortless. Their initial meeting on that festive night was the beginning of a beautiful journey that led to their engagement.
After a long work week for both of us, Brady decided it would be nice to have a little getaway. He booked a hotel in Duluth, and we planned to have drinks and dinner in Canal Park. He gave me the choice of going to the beach or looking for some waterfalls, and naturally, I picked the beach. Once we drove over the lift bridge and reached the beach, Brady claimed he forgot something in the truck and went back to grab the ring. As we walked hand in hand down the beach, searching for beach glass, he suddenly said my name. I turned around, and there he was, on one knee. Brady wanted to propose on the shores of Lake Superior, where the lake connects both of our hometown states—Wisconsin and Minnesota. It was a pretty perfect evening!
