The day after the Boston Marathon, Allyssa and Ayden planned to stay longer to enjoy the city. That meant switching hotel rooms to be in the city. As we were packing up, Allyssa was trying to help Ayden pack and threw items into his backpack (where the ring box was stashed). Ayden was absolutely certain Allyssa found the ring box and planned to nix the proposal. Allyssa truly didn’t know or notice the ring box. They enjoyed their day in the city and went to Fan Pier Park. In true Ayden fashion, he told Allyssa to look at the water and “tied his shoe”, then Ayden pulled out the ring and started to propose. Allyssa blacked out and doesn’t remember exactly what Ayden said but she knew the answer was a Yes!
