Are children welcomed?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where to stay?

Answer

Fort Walton Beach and Destin offer many beautiful places to stay, but for the day before and the night of the wedding, we kindly ask that you stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach. We will have a room block and special discounted rates for our guests. This will help with convenience, limited Uber availability, and traffic, ensuring everyone can enjoy the celebration stress-free. After the wedding, feel free to explore different parts of the Pan handle.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "Beach Elegant." Beach attire balances comfort, style, and appropriateness for a seaside setting. Ideal outfits include breezy fabrics like linen, chiffon, or cotton in bright, pastel, or floral prints. Women often wear midi or maxi dresses and sandals, while men should opt for light-colored suits or linen trousers, generally avoiding heavy, dark fabrics. , the ceremony will take place on the beach and shoes are optional on the sand however are needed for the reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What Happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour on the patio! The bride and groom’s families will stay briefly for photos before joining everyone to enjoy the rest of the hour. Afterward, we’ll move into the reception to continue the celebration.

What is the weather like?

Answer

We have been told by many locals to, "never trust the weatherman". Meaning that the weather is always changing. For the most part Late February and early March are known to average around 66-71 degrees. Known for a mix of sunny and breezy days and cool nights.
