Hudson Gardens encompasses more than thirty acres of garden exhibits, trails, open spaces, and event venues only minutes from downtown Littleton. We encourage people to bond over nature, artistry, health and wellness by making these facilities available for community events and private occasions. We also provide free admission from sunrise–sunset every day of the year for self-directed exploration.
Chatfield State ParkChatfield State Park
Float your boat in the lake, water ski, bicycle or hike on a trail with scenic views of the neighboring foothills and the Platte River valley, camp, ride a horse and even fly a model airplane. Campers have their choice of 197 campsites all with electrical hookups, and many with full hookups (water, sewer and electric), in four campgrounds. In addition to the single-family campsites, there are 10 reservable group camping sites available.

Mount Falcon Trail: Castle Ruins, Tower & Stunning Views Just 30 minutes from Littleton, this 2.3-mile loop in Mount Falcon Park offers castle ruins, a historic lookout tower, and sweeping views of Denver, Red Rocks, and the Front Range. Trailhead Info: Start at the West Trailhead (21074 Mount Falcon Rd, Indian Hills, CO 80454), the quickest access to the summit and views of Mount Evans. Getting There: From U.S. 285, exit at Indian Hills. Follow Parmalee Gulch Rd for 5 miles to Picutis Rd, then continue onto Mount Falcon Rd to the trailhead.
Downtown Evergreen and LakeDowntown Evergreen and Lake
Evergreen Lake encompassing 55 acres, it draws nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts with its scenic beauty and easy access. Just a short walk from downtown via a paved trail, the lake makes it simple to enjoy a full day of recreation, shopping, and dining in Evergreen. The property features a 40-acre lake, a 1.3-mile trail, a historic boat and warming house, an observation boardwalk, a 2-acre park with picnic tables, and surrounding wetlands that support local wildlife.

Red Rocks Park is open to the public from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset every day of the year. On concert days the amphitheatre usually closes to the public after lunch (around 2 p.m.) for sound checks and other operations. However, the amphitheatre may be closed to the public at any time on a day when a concert is scheduled. Occasionally, the amphitheatre may be closed to the public on a non-concert day for a private function such as a rehearsal.
