We met while working at Thermo Fisher Scientific as analytical chemists. Allyson was in the midst of her M.S. program when Rob took a contract opportunity with the company. While Allyson wasn't at work much during the typical work hours due to school, Rob noticed her and just how dedicated and hardworking she was when it came to work, school, shows, and the gym. Allyson routinely updated Rob and their other friends/co-workers on her new PRs at the gym and her current shows she was performing in which lead Rob to actually come see a show before we had even started dating. Rob would always invite Allyson to group hangouts and while she typically was too busy, the times she was able to come they both had a blast. On Oct. 1 2022, Rob texted Allyson about going to see "Smile" in theaters, she responded "Sure, who all is coming?", to which Rob replied "I was just thinking you and I could see it." Allyson responded "Okay sounds good I will see you there" and the rest is history :)
