Hey everyone! We wanted to share a little bit about our story. We’re Ally and Mitchell, and our story started with a little college randomness—and a lot of fate—at Texas A&M University. We first met through Maddie, Ally’s freshman-year roommate (shoutout to the best random roommate match ever). At the time, we were both dating other people, but we became fast friends and stayed close through that first year. The summer after freshman year, Ally needed a place to stay, and as luck would have it, Mitchell’s roommate offered up his room. That summer changed everything. We spent nearly every day together after work—laughing, talking, doing life side-by-side—and slowly realized that what we had was more than just friendship. Eventually, one pizza night turned into something much bigger. We made it official over slices and sauce, and now we celebrate that moment each year with our very own “Pizza Day.” From lake days with friends and country concerts to late-night drives and movie marathons, our favorite memories have always been the little ones. So when Mitchell surprised Ally with a proposal in beautiful Fredericksburg—complete with Maddie’s behind-the-scenes help, a gorgeous winery, and a celebration with our family and closest friends—it felt like the perfect next chapter in a story that already means the world to us. We can’t wait to say “I do” on May 16, 2026, and start this next adventure—together.
