4:00-4:55pm - find parking, sign guest book, find a seat wherever you like in the ceremony area 5:00pm - ceremony starts 5:30ish - we're married! Drink some cocktails, eat some snackies, take some pictures! 6:30pm - take your seats & first dance 7:00pm - dinner 8:15pm - father/daughter & mother/son dances 8:50pm - cake cutting 9:00pm - dance the night away 11:00pm - go home & live happily ever after
Please plan to arrive between 4:00pm - 4:30pm to allow time for parking and finding your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. The venue is on a large hill. For ease of parking, guests will park at the bottom of the hill and then take a shuttle van up to the top of the hill.
Appetizers - TBD Dinner - We are getting TACOS! Options will include: carne asada, chicken, pastor, & shrimp tacos, cheese quesadilla, rice, beans, & all the toppings. Dessert - cheesecake & cookies! Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Garden Party Attire - Floral prints, flowy fabrics, pastel colors, and semi-casual outfits are encouraged! Comfortable shoes are a plus, as we’ll be celebrating outdoors and the dinner seating will be on grass. Please remember no white, off-white, or cream colors! Examples for the ladies: - Sundresses in colorful florals or pastels - Dressy jumpsuits or two-piece sets - Flowy skirts with a nice blouse - Wedges, sandals, or nice flats (avoid stilettos on grass!) - Light cardigan, wrap, or shawl for possibly cooler evening temps Examples for the men: - Lightweight button-down shirts (solid pastel, floral print, or summery patterns) - Slacks or chinos in light or neutral colors - Optional: Sport coat or casual blazer (no tie needed unless you want one) - Loafers, dress shoes, or clean, stylish sneakers -Linen or cotton fabrics in lighter colors are great for the heat Keep in mind that it may be hot while the sun is still up, but will likely get cooler throughout the evening! It can also sometimes get windy!
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally invited. If you were given a plus one, you’ll see their name (or “guest”) clearly indicated when you RSVP on our wedding website. Thanks for understanding!
We’re inviting children from immediate family only and we’re excited to celebrate with a few of our favorite tiny humans! That said, we kindly ask that parents consider arranging childcare if possible. Our hope is to create an environment where everyone (especially you!) can fully enjoy the evening. We want everyone to be able to relax, celebrate, and enjoy more time on the dance floor. If your child is joining us, we kindly ask that they are supervised throughout the event and that extra care is taken during the ceremony and other meaningful moments to avoid disruptions.
