Is there a dress code?

Yes! Our dress code will be formal wear. We encourage women to wear dresses that fall below the knee and men to wear a suit and tie.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the hotel by 4:00 pm so you have time to take your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep your phones put away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment, and we have a professional photographer capturing all the special memories. This also helps ensure our photos are free of screens and distractions. After the ceremony, feel free to take all the pictures you’d like!

Is there a room block at the hotel?

How do I get to the Island?

There are ferries out of Mackinaw City (Lower Peninsula) and St. Ignace (Upper Peninsula). There is overnight parking at all of the docks. The two main ferry lines are Shepler's and Arnold Transit Company. *Please note that these run only at certain times - check the respective websites for up-to-date schedules*

How do we get around the island?

Answer

There are no cars on the island - you can walk, bike, or take a horse-drawn carriage. You can bring your own bikes or rent from one of the many bike shops on the island.
